NEW – Winter Retreat Recap Video

180 is our large group gathering for junior high students (grades 6-8). The idea behind 180 comes from the story of Saul on his way to Damascus. He was heading there to persecute, arrest, and kill Christians. However, in one moment, he had a personal encounter with Jesus and his life was never the same. Jesus gave him a new name (Paul) and his life began heading in the complete opposite direction. Once a persecutor of Christians, Paul ended up becoming one of the greatest Christians that ever lived. In one moment, his life made a 180 degree turn. Everything was different because of that one encounter with Jesus. We believe that it only takes one moment with Jesus to truly transform a students’ life and have their life do a 180.
180 encourages students to take the step to change their life around in the context of their everyday friendships. This happens through entertaining games, hilarious ice-breakers, biblical teaching that directly relates to the students’ live, and small group conversations where students and leaders relate what God is teaching to their lives.
180 meets on Wednesday nights from 6-7:45pm in the Student Center at Calvary. On Sunday mornings we offer two different bible strudies for Students: Jr. and Sr. High girls meet in the Student Center from 9am – 10am. Jr. and Sr. High guys meet in ABF 3 from 9am – 10am.
